I will be blogging about other areas of Tampa Bay, but this one is on Carrollwood, one of the most central, traditional, longstanding in property values, established, popular, convenience dominated and affordable suburbs of all of Tampa Bay. You just can’t beat it. I personally live here and for good reasons which you will read below. I am prejudiced but please give me a call to discuss any questions you may have about this or any other neighborhoods of Tampa Bay. Bill Szydlowski, 813-323-4443 or email@example.com.
Carrollwood, Florida area features some of the most traditional Floridian homes in Tampa with the added bonus of being only 15 minutes northwest of downtown Tampa and Tampa International Airport in the zip codes of 33618 and 33624. Since 1950, more than 90% of America’s population growth has taken place in the suburbs. While young urbanites and some retirees like the urban hustle/bustle, the suburbs will always provide the quality, space and serenity of life Americans love. Today, roughly 2 out of 3 people live in suburbs like Carrollwood.
There are many subdivisions in the Carrollwood area. One of the largest is Carrollwood Village. This suburban atmosphere offers winding tree covered roads and many ponds with wildlife mixed within the Village community subdivisions. In addition to the Carrollwood Cultural Center located within the heart of Carrollwood Village, there are tennis courts, picnic tables and playgrounds. Come to our monthly Farmer’s Market (2nd Saturday) for fun, food and the open air market experience. Another popular prominent feature of Carrollwood Village is the quick access to grocery and convenience shopping, a plethora of restaurants, movie theatres, comedy clubs, hospitals, churches and schools, all located along the busy main corridor of North Dale Mabry. With time and gas being high priorities today, Carrollwood real estate is a hot commodity in Tampa and it is hard to beat.
You will find newer communities in Tampa Bay like Westchase and parts of Lutz and both are worthy of searching out to determine your comfort zone and priorities. Specifically, Carrollwood is chosen for its steady property values, quality schools, central access, and variety of architecture and established flora, by an assortment of age groups and lifestyles who want a quality of life.
10 reasons I love Carrollwood Village in Tampa:
Carrollwood boundaries include Lake Magdalene/Northdale to the north, Tampa to the east, Egypt Lake to the south, and Citrus Park to the west. Single-family detached homes generally start around $150,000 and sell to over $1,000,000. Many have lots over a 1/4 acre and lot of trees, conservation and ponds. There are also many condominiums and some townhome communities ranging from the $100,000’s to over $800,000 on the Golf Course. Apartment living is also abundant..
